St Paddy's Day and other things Irish
Been chilling at a peaceful hostel on the Killary Ford in Connemara for six days, which is why I have so much time and energy to blog. I'm going to a wedding on the weekend and then I'm off to Amsterdam, Berlin and other places. Coming back to Ireland in July for the Galaway Arts Festival and August for the Foo Fighters.
St Patrick's day was shitty weather, the weather was worse than December. So the best thing to do was find a good company and a warm pub. This is my first drink for the day. Guess who fell for the 'eat-a-piece-of-shamrock-on-St Paddy's-day' joke?

6 hours later and still going strong, me, Sean, and the lovelies Diedre (responsible for the shamrock joke above!) and Jason.

Still drinking. Attempting to go to the Irish Institute of Modern Art in Dublin, we discovered on arrival that it's closed on Mondays. The closest other sight was the Guiness factory, slainte!

Newgrange, Ireland. Hill tombs originating from 3000 BC. Older than the pyramids...
